TopSpeed Strength & Conditioning is a private sports performance training facility and physical therapy center located at 13932 West 108th Street in Lenexa, KS. It is one of only a handful of private facilities in America to have research-grade tools such as the 1080 Sprint testing device available for use with athletes. The facility is not your typical gym, there are no cardio machines, no televisions, and no cozy conditions. The layout is designed purely to help individuals significantly improve their athletic ability and fitness levels. Workouts are hard, designed to push individuals to and beyond their preconceived limits.
The facility is under the direction of former Kansas City Royals Strength and Conditioning Coach Joseph Potts who is widely regarded as one of the top sports performance training coaches in America. He has trained athletes from the NFL, MLB, NBA, Professional Soccer, Professional Volleyball, the Olympic Games and college athletics.
The methods used at TopSpeed provide a level of performance training that was once only available to professional and division-I college athletes. Services include Sports Performance Training (speed, power, strength and agility coaching), NFL Combine/Pro Day Preparation, Pitcher/QB Arm Care Programs, College Recruiting Assistance & much more. Also, thanks to a sponsorship agreement with OhYeah! Nutrition, the TopSpeed facility operates in the same manner as a professional sports teams' weight room whereby athletes are provided protein shakes and bars, free of charge.
Take a sneak peak at the results of the TopSpeed training methods by checking out this video of the NFL Combine performance of TopSpeed program alumni Christian Ballard. At 6'4" and 286 pounds Christian ran the fastest Forty Yard Dash amongst all interior defensive lineman and was selected by the Minnesota Vikings with their 3rd overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.
