YOUTH ATHLETE TRAINING
Recent research from Dr. Avery Faigenbaum suggests that athletes who delay involvement in strength & conditioning until late-adolescence may not maximize their genetic potential. In addition, much of the youth throughout the USA are only receiving 1 or 2 days per week of PE class during the school year. This has likely played a part in the rising childhood obesity rates, in 2021 nearly 1 in 4 children & teens qualified as obese. The largest rise was in the 6-11 year old age group.
To assist with the athletic development of younger individuals we are now offering a Youth Sports Development class along with youth sports team training led by Coach Jaylon Radel. The class is held Saturday's from 8 to 9 am, signups are available at our online enrollment link. The class focus is fundamental strength, movement proficiency, speed and power.
